Sweet Chilli Hummus

We can't get enough of Hummus (also spelt hommus or houmous), and this Sweet Chilli Hummus is no exception!

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, chances are you've tried this Middle-Eastern dip, but have you tried making your own? It's a simple base of chickpeas blended with tahini, lemon juice, and garlic. You can then go wild with spices and herbs like parsley and paprika, coriander and garlic, balsamic and onion... there are unlimited flavour combos when it comes to hummus.

The reason we love it so? It's full of vitamins and minerals like iron, calcium, B vitamins and zinc, and a great source of plant-based protein! Tahini contains lots of vitamin E which is great for skin, blood and brain health, whilst the chickpeas are a great source of fibre, to keep your gut healthy!

We could honestly eat it daily (and often we do). It makes a great snack with your favourite veggie sticks, like carrots and cucumber, or we add it to our salads instead of dressing.

This Sweet Chilli Hummus recipe takes the basics and jazz's it up with some lime juice and sweet chilli sauce... it's perfect to add to a grazing board, or piled onto some seeded crackers.
